Taiko means "big drum" -- you can see why! Big drums have always brought villages and communities together. Come experience the joy and fun of playing on these big drums! No musical background or experience required!
Drop-In Taiko Sessions
Sessions are designed for newcomers to the art of taiko drumming. Students will be taught exercises to warm up the body, basic form, and hitting technique. Students will also be introduced to a brief history of taiko in the United States and Japan.
Session Dates: Wednesdays 6pm - 7pm
